Ringwood Carnival, 20th September

This fantastic annual event brings a colourful array of music, entertainment, games, refreshments, stalls and fun for all the family, throughout the day and evening. The carnival proceeds through the streets of Ringwood, with the fun fair situated on Bickerley Common.

Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, throughout September

A range of walks, workouts and bike rides can be enjoyed on dates throughout September at Moors Valley. There’s something for everyone, including Go Ape, a high wire forest adventure through the treetops.

 Autojumble Beaulieu, 6th & 7th September

Just over half an hour’s drive away, you’ll find Beaulieu’s most famous motoring event, the International Autojumble, the biggest outdoor sale of motoring items this side of the Atlantic. With over 2000 stands, groaning with all kinds of vintage and classic motoring ephemera, there are lots of bargains to be had. The saying goes, that; “if you can’t find it at Beaulieu, it doesn’t exist!”.

Southampton Boat Show, 12th – 21st September

The Southampton Boat Show is an on-water boat show, one of the largest in Europe and the biggest of its type in the UK, just over half an hour’s drive away from Moortown Lodge. It started in 1968 and is held annually in September, featuring hundreds of boats, brands and suppliers as well as food, bars and attractions.

Macmillan Cycletta New Forest, 21st September

Macmillan Cycletta is the UK’s leading series of women-only bike rides, supported by Olympic Gold Medallist Victoria Pendleton, designed for women of all ages and abilities. Starting at the breathtaking Beaulieu Palace, the ride journeys through the picturesque scenery of Beaulieu and the New Forest with cycle routes ranging from 20km through to 100km.
