Bournemouth Air Festival

Running from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd August, Bournemouth Air Festival is ready to take off! Hosting incredible performances from some of the world’s leading display teams and aircraft including Matadors Aerobatic Team and Patrouille Reva Aerobatic Display Team, it will also be a festival first for MiG 15 and the Hawk T2 Role Demo Team.

New Forest Folk Festival

The 2015 New Forest Folk Festival will kick off over August bank holiday, starting just beforehand, on Wednesday 26th and carrying on through to Sunday 30th. The line up includes Home Service, an English ‘folk-with-brass’ band featuring some of the best musicians in their field, ‘Bold as Brass’, an apt description for their dynamic show and Cornish gypsy-folk band 3 Daft Monkey’s, a 4-piece line-up.

Little Johnny England never fails to get the audience to their feet and Tannahill Weavers will also be appearing, one of Scotland’s premier traditional bands.

Simply Classics and Sports Car at Beaulieu

Simply Classic and Sports Car event takes place on Saturday 22nd August, promising to be a motoring enthusiasts’ dream day out. With hundreds of vehicles on display, owners of classic vehicles dated pre 1990 and sports cars of any age are invited to bring their cars to Beaulieu and park within the museum complex. A Saturday and Sunday night stay at Moortown Lodge will finish off your weekend nicely.

Simply Land Rover

Come to Beaulieu in your Land Rover on Sunday 9th August and become part of Simply Land Rover. The event will provide a great day out for all the family, with a wide range of vehicles on display from the Evoque to the Defender in addition to classics such as the Series 1. There will be plenty to see and do and a Sunday night stay at Moortown Lodge will provide a relaxing end to the weekend.

Fifty Fantastic Finds at Blashford

Throughout the summer, every day from 23rd July through to 31st August, explorers are in for a treat at Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve.  They’re invited to drop in any time between 9am – 4.30pm to see how many of Blashford Lakes’ natural treasures they can find on this scavenger hunt around the nature reserve.
