"Wonderful place, very friendly. Great breakfast"
Al and Stacey, Washington State, USA

Lyndhurst
The village of Lyndhurst lies within easy driving distance, like Southampton and South West Hampshire and contains the villages of Bramshaw, Denny Lodge and Minstead. It is regarded as the capital or principal town of The New Forest and is very popular with tourists all year round. The main High Street boasts many diverse shops, including antique shops, independently owned gift shops and the usual scattering of cafes and public houses.

The New Forest
The New Forest is the eighth National Park and possibly the most diverse in terms of wildlife. Today the New Forest is visited by well over 13½ million people of all age groups. This in turn has increased the need to protect the species that live here and the way of life that has evolved among the forest folk over centuries.
