TERMS OF BUSINESS
Rates are inclusive of full English breakfast, VAT and service charges
Unless otherwise agreed, credit or debit card details are required to secure a reservation.
Payment may be processed anytime once the booking has entered the cancellation fee period. Payment may be requested at time of check in. Payment can be made by card or by cash. (We regret that we do not accept payment by American Express or by cheque)
If your booking is for more than 5 nights we will require a deposit 2 weeks prior to your arrival at an agreed date.
If an individual booking includes 3 or more rooms, this is considered a GROUP booking, then a 50% non refundable deposit will be required at an agreed date prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOWS
Unless otherwise agreed, 5 days clear notice of cancellation is required. Should a reservation be cancelled within 5 days of your arrival date then your card will be charged with the full amount of the first nights stay and up to any remaining vacant nights that cannot be resold at short notice. Once checked in, if you cut short your stay we will do our best to resell your room for the remaining nights but you will be liable for any loss Moortown Lodge suffers as a result of your cancellation
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
You are welcome to check in from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. The B&B is unmanned between the hours of 12noon until 4pm, while we go about our daily errands. If you have specific needs for an earlier check in, please phone us at the time of your booking to discuss.
Check out is 10.30am.
PLEASE NOTE: LATEST CHECK IN TIME 7pm. Please notify us if you are later. We reserve the right to refuse check in after 10.30pm unless agreed prior.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 9.00am weekdays and 8.30am – 9.30am on Weekends. Earlier breakfast are able to be provided on request or on the go for very early risers.
We operate a total non-smoking policy. We ask you to respect this policy and reserve the right to charge you for any costs we may incur such as loss of revenue caused by having to take the room out of service and for special cleaning.
DAMAGES & BREAKAGES
Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage, which you cause, to the accommodation and its contents. We do not normally charge for minor damage but we may invoice you for making good or any significant repairs.
We welcome a child age 5-15yrs in our family room, please can you advise the age of the child at the time of booking. Our family room rate already includes one child in a single bed which is provided in the room. We do not supply travel cots or high chairs. Please call us if you wish to discuss individual circumstances. Children under 15 years cannot be booked into a separate room without an adult in the room for their own safety.
SECURITY & PERSONAL BELONGINGS
While staff do all they can to ensure that guests’ belongings are safe and secure at all times we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ property on our premises.
